THE VAL D’ISÈRE RESORT.

With over 150km of pistes and acres of legendary off-piste terrain, Val d’Isère has a well-earned reputation as a great ski destination. Together with the neighbouring resort of Tignes, Val d’Isère is part of the Espace Killy, one of the largest and most exciting skiable areas in the world. The ski area of Val d’Isère itself is made up of three regions: the Solaise in the centre, the Fornet with its wealth of off-piste opportunities and the Bellevarde, with its links across to Tignes.

FROM THE ROND POINT DES PISTES.

• Time to reach meeting point: 5 minutes (walking)

• Minimum ski level required: Able to snow plough/ turn on a snowboard

• Directions: The bus stop is located on the piste side of the roundabout. On arrival at the bus stop, ski straight across the front of the Olympic gondola, Bellevarde chairlift and the meeting point sign should be directly in front of you.

FROM CENTRAL BUS STATION.

• Time to reach meeting point: 5 minutes (bus) 5 minutes (walk)

• Directions: Take the bus from the station under the tunnel to the Rond Point de Pistes. The bus stop is located on the piste side of the roundabout. On arrival at the bus stop, ski straight across the front of the Olympic gondola, Bellevarde chairlift and the meeting point sign is directly in front of you.

If on foot, turn right at the roundabout by the bus station and continue walking straight. You will pass the Spar shop on your left and Dick’s Tea Bar on your right, continue straight ahead to reach the snow front. The meeting point is on the left as you step onto the snow front by the restaurant bar ‘Bananas’.

FROM THE TOURIST OFFICE.

• Time to reach meeting point: 3 minutes (bus) 7 minutes (walk)

• Directions: Take the bus from the main street opposite the ‘Salon des Fous’ bar through the tunnel to the Rond Point de Pistes. The bus stop is located on the piste side of the roundabout. On arrival at the bus stop, ski straight across the front of the Olympic gondola, Bellevarde chairlift and the meeting point sign is directly in front of you.

Alternatively, out of the Tourist Office, cross over the road at the roundabout and head straight, through the parade of shops. You will reach ‘Snow Square’. Continue ahead towards the main snow front and turn right, continue 25 meters until you reach the meeting point. You will find us directly in between the Village and the Bellevarde Express chair lifts, and next to the restaurant bar ‘Bananas’.

FROM LA DAILLE.

• Time to reach meeting point: 10 minutes (bus)

• Directions: Take the bus from the La Daille Bus Stop (opposite the Tovière hotel). Stay on until you go through the tunnel then get off at the Rond Point des Pistes. Ski straight across the front of the Olympic gondola, Bellevarde chairlift and the meeting point sign should be directly in front of you.

FROM LE FORNET.

• Time to reach meeting point: 10 minutes (bus)

• Directions: Take the bus towards the village center and stay on under the tunnel to the Rond Point de Pistes. The bus stop is located on the piste side of the roundabout. On arrival at the bus stop, ski or walk straight across the front of the Olympic gondola, Bellevarde chairlift and the meeting point sign should be directly in front of you.

FROM THE OXYGÈNE OFFICE.

• Time to reach meeting point: 5 minutes (bus) 7 minutes (walk)

• Directions: Walk outside the building and cross the road to the central bus station. Take the bus from the station under the tunnel to the Rond Point de Pistes. The bus stop is located on the piste side of the roundabout. On arrival at the bus stop, ski straight across the front of the Olympic gondola, Bellevarde chairlift and the meeting point sign is directly in front of you.

If on foot, walk outside the building and turn left towards the roundabout. Once you arrive at the roundabout, cross over and take the path upwards towards the car park. You will pass the Spar shop on your left and Dick’s Tea Bar on your right, continue straight ahead to reach the snow front. The meeting point is on the left as you step onto the snow front by the restaurant bar ‘Bananas’.
